Nursing Care
Each patient is under the care of a registered nurse case manager, who is responsible for the coordination of care. Our registered nurses perform or instruct patients and caregivers on many clinical procedures, including:
- Blood glucose monitoring and insulin injections
- Ostomy care and supplies
- Enteral feedings
- IV infusion therapy
- Wound care and skin ulcer management, including wound VAC
- INR monitoring for patients taking Coumadin
- Telehealth/telemonitoring
- Medication management
- Blood draws
